Dropshipping has been growing steadily since the year 2000, but so has the awareness of online shoppers, buyers, and governments. Because of this, it’s becoming more and more important to be able to ship products from the US or EU in a more reliable and fast way. The only problem doing this has been the problem of not finding these US and EU suppliers. Thankfully there is now a solution for finding the perfect products as well as finding US and EU located suppliers to fill the need for reliable and fast product shipping from the US and EU and the solution is Spocket.
What is Spocket?
Spocket is an online SaaS tool that helps you find the winning dropshipping products from US and European suppliers, making it easier, safer, and faster to deliver these products to your customers.
Who is Spocket for?
As you might have guessed, Spocket is heavily focused on new and existing drop shippers. Either way, Spocket is the perfect tool for those who are looking for a way to increase their earnings or to find new products to dropship. It’s also a great tool for those who want to create an eCommerce store and want to get started the easy way by starting to drop ship products.
How to get started with Spocket
Now you must be asking “How do I get started with Spocket?“, but no worries. Thankfully Spocket has made it super simple to get started with them and here’s how:
- Create a new account here
- Select your pricing plant
- Search for products by category or keyword
- Add to importlist
- Import products
… and that’s it. You’ve just imported the products and they should be now inserted into your store as long as you have integrated Spocket with it. More on integrations later on.
Something we liked about Spocket is that they offer a few different apps to make your life easier and time-saving. These include:
- The Dropshipping iOS App that lets you search for products when on the go, which is super helpful for those of us who need to move around alot
- Dropshipping Aroind App for those who have and Android based phone and are not using iPhones
- AllScraper that you can simply add to your Google Chrome browser to import products from AliExpress quickly to your store
- Last but not least the Alibaba.com that lets you quickly import products from Alibaba.com
Now as we mentioned earlier Spocket is not just for searching products but it actually integrates with quite a few different eCommerce platforms. This is great because it saves a lot of time when keeping products updated and making sure they are actually available, on top of making sure you are selling for profit.
Platforms Spocket integrates directly with at the moment include:
- KMO Shops
Spocket + WooCommerce
Connecting Spocket to WooCommerce is a simple process:
- Download the official Spocket plugin here to your WordPress.
- Activate the plugin in your plugins’ page
- Go to WordPress Dashboard > Spocket
- Paste your Auth key (shown in Spocket) click on “Save”
… and that’s it.
After the connection, Spocket will automatically sync products with your WooCommerce store. Super simple and easy to set up. Just remember this is only available in paid subscriptions. Which again I completely understand, but hopefully they will allow users to synch few products even with the free tier so people get to test this out before subscribing in the future.
Processing orders is really easy in Spocket. Simply head on to the “My orders” area, click “Checkout” and everything from shipping to taxes is generated automatically. After that press “Place order” and that’s it. You can even note to the supplier if you wish to.
The best part about this is you can even track the package in Spocket. This is something a lot of other services that focus on dropshipping seem to have locked behind a higher tier monthly payment plan or don’t have at all in their system.
Spocket global settings
As most marketers and salespeople know, one of the best pricing techniques in the world is to price products so they end in 5, 7, or 9. That’s why you see so many prices that are priced something like 19,95 or 24,95 etc.
Now the reason why we bring this up is that Spocket has a nifty little setting in their Settings page. You can set so every single product you sync, actually shows up in your store with certain markup and you can even set so the prices end in a selected number to make sure they always end in something like XX.95 or something else.
A very nice feature that helps automate stuff in the long run.
Spocket has an in-depth help center where you can find the most answers quite easily. As a complete newcomer to their system, we had no problem setting up any of the systems we wanted and if we did encounter something we simply headed to the help area.
If you are looking for more personalized help you can always chat with Spocket’s support and team. The only downside is that this feature is locked behind the higher tiers in Spocket’s pricing tiers, though well worth the money if you are going to start a real drop shipping business.
Spocket offers four pricing tiers that are:
- Free – No cost, but you can’t add any products from Spocket to your shop
- Starter (24 $/month) – 25 unique products
- Pro (49 $/month) – 250 unique products + 25 premium products
- Empire (99 $/month) – 10 000 unique products + 10 000 premium products
Now, something we must point out is that to actually use Spocket’s synchronization and to add products to your shop from Spocket you do need the Starter, Pro, or Empire plan active.
Another thing you must be wondering is, “What is the difference between unique and premium products?”
Unique products mean individual products you can simply add to your shop, but Spocket also has products they consider “premium” meaning the best selling products that are really flying off the shelf so to speak. If you want to focus only on the premium products (which you can thankfully filter out or in) then we highly recommend focusing on the Pro or if you really really want to just pick premium items and are considering going big then choose the Empire and you won’t be running out of “premium product” -space any time soon.
Spocket review conclusion
In conclusion is Spocket something we would recommend for new drop shipping enthusiasts, experienced drop shippers, or someone who just wants to try out dropshipping? In short, yes we would recommend Spocket.
Spocket is a great service to keep your dropshipping business in check and to automate the hard stuff. It also has built-in integrations to most eCommerce platforms making it easy to get started and/or to work with an existing store.
Spocket’s pricing is fair and not over the top and at higher tiers they really blow out by giving you 10 000 unique + 10 000 premium products. Meaning anyone wanting to build something that big actually can with a fairly low price and a great automation platform on the backend.
Fulfilling orders is as simple as it gets since everything is calculated automatically and it’s easy to make orders without spending any time on copying and filling information from one system to another.
Spocket’s chat support is limited to Pro and Empire plans, which is kind of a bummer but completely understandable business-wise and just means that if you really want to get into dropshipping, just get the Pro package after you start earning some from all the sales you’re making thanks to them.
